| Description: | POSITION PURPOSE: Primary responsibility for the provision of clinical services for individuals and families with substance abuse or dependence problems, including those with co-existing mental health problems, in an outpatient mental health/addictions treatment setting. |
| Duties: | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provides assessment and diagnosis of adults. Provides individual therapy to adults. Provides group therapy for adults. Provides assessment and diagnosis of children and adolescents. Provides individual therapy for children and adolescents Provides group therapy for children and adolescents. Provides geriatric assessment and diagnosis. Provides individual therapy for older adults. Provides case management services. Provides crisis/emergency interventions. Provides specialized assessments of addictions disorders in adults and youth. Provides treatment for addictions disorders in adults and youth. Provides family therapy. Conducts HAPI-A assessments. Conducts HAPI-C assessments. Participates in center committees and performs other duties as required/assigned. Presents educational seminars/workshops on mental health/addictions topics for community groups. Provides consultation and education services to the community as required. Maintains complete and accurate clinical and administrative records in accordance with center policies and procedures. Performs all duties in a manner with Meridian Services standards, policies and procedures and regulations and inn accordance with local, state and federal laws and with ethical standards of profession. Participates in center committees and performs other duties as required/directed. Must meet assigned productivity requirements. Supervisor Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. |
